This year we stayed home for Thanksgiving and had friends over to celebrate the day.  Usually, I hate to cook, but for some reason I love preparing all the holiday dishes made famous by my mother and grandmother.  I do not understand why this is so, but it works for me so I’m just going with it.

To everyone who showed up for the 100th Post Blarty — I love you!  You truly exceeded my expectations, to say the least.  Y’all make me proud.

And, you may have noticed the look of the blog has been changing all weekend.  My blogbase has a very specific list of demands, NONE of which can be satisfied by any one wordpress template.  So, unless somebody out there wants to come over and design me a website, I’m stuck with this.  Until I get bored with it and change it again, that is.

Thanks to Dan and April for documenting our holiday festivities; unlike me, the negligent mother whose children’s only memory of this Thanksgiving will be that their parents drank a lot of mulled wine and killed at Taboo.

That’s what friends are for, right?!
